no. Vista is just trying to look good. they even try and make a pathetic adaption of the mac dock and mac widgets (gadgets). Overall, their interface doesn't change much. only the colors. xp, is ok, but Microsoft has just gone downhill since xp. I laugh. You are obviously too young to understand anything about the technological world.

interface? hum, KDE interface is sufficient for me, plus it is not proprietary, and it's enough for the job. Dude, you wouldn't believe on what kind of computers office workers happen to work. Forget about 24 inch LCD and super duper Intel Pentiums, some of them use 15inch CRTs on somewhat old computers, plus they run programs that are say 10year old, and not all of them run WindowsXP or Vista, not uncommon Windows NT 4(??), Windows 9x
