Unbelievable (Microsoft Corp Sucks)

Just tried to install the Trial Edition of Visual Studio 2008. It is worth noting that I have a *very* vanilla install of XP Service Pack 2. The installer bombed out, claiming that a file on the install disk was corrupt. I tried to run it again. It bombed out again. A Google Search found that this is a *known* issue with the Trial Edition of Visual Studio 2008! The stupid bastards *know* that the install doesn't work, and they keep it up for download anyway!

Okay, I say. Fine. Microsoft Sucks. This is news to nobody. I'll just download the Trial Version of Visual Studio 2005 instead. Wrong. That image doesn't work *either*. Again, I tried it several times with the goddamned thing always hanging at instmsiA.exe. Claiming that it cannot be read. I'm sick of this. Only fucking Microsoft would put out two extremely shitty installations of their extremely shitty fucking software and not seem to give a damn.

I would personally like to beat down whatever fuckhole Vice President is in charge of their sorry-ass Quality Control division. Assuming that they even have one.

Quality.... HA.....

The only Quality that microsoft checks is to ensure the currency you paid them to purchase Vista with is not Fake....

The list of BAD or Ugly errors seems very very long with MS....

Even XP has bugs..... Forever I liked the bug that left active "next" button in a dialog box that informs you that windows is decompressing a zip file to a folder...... Not even sure if this got fixed in the latest round of patches or service packs.....

But don't get me started with the Development tools...... Every time I use one of the "VS tools" or Sql Tools.... I wonder if anyone at MS really uses this Crap.... The number of Flaws I have found working with SSIS is huge. GUI problems everywhere .... I love the part where you encounter an error while using the "Wizards" and Property menus and you manage to get the tools confused and it tells you the control can not be displayed any more..... You have to delete everything and start over again.... WTF......
:-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-(

So I had no choice but to move over to Ruby on Rails..... VS Sucks so bad I don't think MS can fix it any more.....

This doens't look like a quality control issue. I suspect they know all about it and planned it that way. Asswipes that they are this could be a another form of maketing....bait and switch in a sneaky form.

guess what? i installed Debian for my neighbour 3 days ago but he wanted also this scrap OS called windows2000 to be installed on a second disk. first this piece of shit wanted to use the second disk with debian on it (what the fuck?), so i had to disconnect it. then a long bloody night of reboots began: cannot load this cannot load that. finally it made it to something like a gui. the cursor was as big as an apple...it all ended with a totally fucked up system. the IRQ for usb is pretty crank now. Debian of course still boots but i must use a ps/2 mouse now and cannot connect any usbdisk. what kind of crack smoking bastard has programmed this shit? they ARE gangsters und should all get shot, if you ask me. the sooner the better.
